The Grindstone Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest is changing the hours and locations for visitor information services for Tehama County, beginning December 17 and continuing until further notice.

Upper Lake District Ranger Lee Johnson announced today that the Upper Lake Ranger District Office of the Mendocino National Forest will be open on two weekends December 1 and 2 and December 8 and 9, 2007, for the purpose of selling Christmas Tree Permits.

Personal use Christmas tree cutting permits for the Mendocino National Forest will go on sale at the district offices and the headquarters office in Willows, beginning Monday, November 19 through December 14.
