As part of our continuing efforts to improve our services to our participants, Quantum Units Education will soon be releasing a new website with greatly improved features thanks to the feedback from our customers.
Some things won't change. We will still offer the lowest prices you will find on the internet! You will still get the same outstanding customer support! And our free open source materials are still available for viewing and printing before you pay!
If you are a returning participant you will find the following features are being added:
1) Access to your personal record! You will now sign up for an account before taking an electronic exam and submitting payment. This account is free and will allow you to have access to all paid and unpaid exams you have taken, all certificates issued and all payment records.
2) Instantly download your certificates! After submitting payment for an electronic exam you may now instantly print your certificate. You will still have the option of requesting a copy via fax or US mail if you do not have access to a printer.
3) Smoother checkout process! We no longer use PayPal as our credit card processing center. All payments may now be made conveniently and securely at our website. You will find the process much smoother. We will continue to offer other options for submitting payment.
4) Newsletter! You may now sign up for our monthly email newsletter which will inform you of new course offerings. It is our goal to add one new course each month.
5) One payment button! We have applied NBCC guidelines for all course hour determinations (4000 words per CEU) to eliminate the confusion of 2 payment options.
6) License renewal reminder! Sign up to receive automatic email reminders 90 days before your license renewal is set to expire.

Quantum Units Education is offering a new online ceu course: Treatment for Child Abuse and Neglect Issues. This course is available for 8 ceu hours and is applicable to licensed marriage and family therapists, social workers, counselors and nurses. Course Description:
This is another excellent public domain Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) manual compiled by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). It presents information to assist alcohol and drug counselors and other treatment providers to work with adults who have histories of childhood abuse or neglect and adults who abuse or who are at risk for abusing their own children.
Course Objectives:
1) Demonstrate knowledge of the implications for treatment of clients with abuse histories and incidence of child abuse and neglect.
2) Recognize challenges and special considerations in accurate screening and assessment for a history of child abuse and neglect.
3) Demonstrate understanding of comprehensive treatments for adult survivors of child abuse and neglect.
4) Identify therapeutic issues for counselors.
5) Enumerate strategies for breaking the cycle of the substance-dependent client parenting and potentially endangering children.
6) Identify legal responsibilities and recourse for treatment professionals.
7) Recognize emerging trends/issues.

Quantum Units Education has changed it’s home study ceu program to now include the course textbook when a participant places an order. In the past, participants were loaned a ceu course textbook while Quantum Units paid to have the text shipped both ways. Now the participant has the option of keeping the textbook at no extra charge! Our prices haven’t changed! Quantum Units is dedicated to offering low cost ceus online and through home study in order to assist licensees and pre-licensees in maintaining their place in the work force.

Quantum Units Education has been approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors to offer online and home study continuing education (ceu) courses to it’s licensees. National Certified Counselors (NCC) have to renew their certification with continuing education courses that are offered by an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) from NBCC. Quantum Units has a variety of courses in both online and home study formats that assist licensed therapists, social workers, counselors and nurses nationally and internationally to renew their licenses. Quantum Units Education has decided to reduce all ‘exam only’ home study ceu courses. Previously, participants could purchase an ‘exam only’ home study ceu course for $4 per ceu hour and purchase their own textbook through Amazon.com or another book seller. Quantum Units has decided to reduce the cost of these ceu courses to only $3 per contact hour. You may still purchase a home study ceu course for $5 per ceu hour and we will loan you a book from our lending library.

Quantum Units Education has posted a new online ceu course, Alcohol Problems in Intimate Relationships. This ceu course is worth 6 ceu hours and only cost $18. For those licensed through NBCC, the National Board of Certified Counselors, the course is 2.5 ceu hours for $7.50. Quantum Units Education is now shipping all home study book orders by 'priority mail' instead of 'media mail'. This means that our participants will be receiving their book orders within 2-3 days instead of the original 2-14 days. There is no additional cost for this service to our participants.
