The Fire Safety Engineering Research and Technology Centre (FireSERT), which is part of the School of the Built Environment, is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers working on fire safety in a laboratory facility which is unique on the island of Ireland. The postholder will provide teaching, programme development and research consistent with the area of fire dynamics and material flammability as they relate to fire safety design in the built environment.
