  • Accenture test paper for interview
    The recruitment process (four round) is quite a long. It goes as follows:--



    I. Written Test 1 Hrs

    II. GD 15 Mins.

    III. Technical 20-30 Mins.

    IV. HR 10 Mins.



    Total students appear for Written =190

    For GD =116

    For Technical=79

    For HR=50



    Final Selection = 33 of which six from MCA.



    ( I ) WRITTEN TEST for interview



    Written Test Consist of 55 question to be answer in 1 Hrs. & a short ESSAY on a given topic.



    Written Test consist of Three Section:

    1) Verbal 20 Questions

    2) Aptitude 20 Questions

    3) Analytical 15 Questions



    1) VERBAL SECTION for interview



    It consist of question like

    fill in the blanks using given words,

    fill in the blanks using given ARTICLE,

    2-3 question from synonyms



    Two passage were given one on SQL language & another on DBMS.

    5 - Question from each passage.

    Its quite a easy one.



    2) APTITUDE



    3 - question like There are 2000 member on a club, 800 likes swimming, 1300 like golf, 500 like swimming & golf then how many like onlu swimming, golf?



    3 question on set theory like there are 50 people, 20 like jukebox+game, 10 like game+book , 35 like book+jukebox. Than how many like only book, jukebox.







    question on percentage like "if A got 20% marks & failed by 10 marks & B got 42% & passed by 1 marks, then what is the pass %, maximum marks."



    if Ram's rank is 14th, total student 46, what will be his rank backward.



    3) ANALYTICAL for interview

    easy one 5 - question on decision making

    b) IT is enabler (BOON) or not ? (my topic)

    c) Is Salman Khan's Bail is Justifiable?

    d) Communism & Economy Reform.

    e) CPM's Role in Privatization.

    f) Foreign TV channels should be banned in INDIA or not?

    There are approx. of 12- 15 members in each group & particularly they check you Communication skills, Leadership Qualities etc.Basic funda is to say as much as you know about the topic but don't bluff to much, it may the resaon for your elimination.





    ( III ) TECHNICAL

    Tell me about yourself ?

    What is a ROM, what is contains ?

    What SDLC model ?

    What is advantage of using pointer?

    What is Virtual functios?

    What are the diffeernt management techniques?

    What are the difference between Structure & Class?

    What is OSI & TCP/IP layers, differentiate them?

    What is indexing?

    What is Normalisation? 1NF, 2NF, 3NF?

    What is virtual pointer?

    Have you done any project so far? (Please mention project only in you have done it properly)

    ( IV ) HR SECTION

    Tell me about yourself?

    Why would like to join ACCENTURE?(interviewer)

    How can you help us?

    Relocation for you is possible or not?

    For Aptitude R.S Agarwal is enough to crack this.For technical u have to grill the "Test ur C & C++ Skill" books.Most of the questions r repeated from prev. question paper.

    In C++,Mostly from Polymorphism,inheritence,virtual functions,constructors.

    In C,Mostly from scope of variable,pointers,structures.Its quite easy when compare to C++.

    Its cool & relax round.

    2)Be careful in HR Round(its an elimination round)
    2.1)dont lie in hr,becoz to cover that lie you need to say bigger lies & u will be trapped somewhere
    2.2)always be a keen listner with a pleasent face(if u are NOT atleast act like that)
    2.3)finally HR will say "Do you have any Questions??". its very important because that question reveals your attitude & knowledge about the industry you are going to work.Ask some startling, unexpected questions!!!

    3)Technical round
    If you are from Computer science prepare well in
    3.1) DBMS(normalization,1NF,2NF,3NF,BCNF,4NF,5NF with examples,Database architecture,schema architecture,DDL,DML,role of s/m administrator,concurrency control(locking,timestamps))
    3.2) Datastructures
    sorting algorithms(buble,selection,insertion,quick,shell,heap & may be radix sort,be prepared to write those C or C++ code)
    hashing functions etc
    3.3) C (link list implimentation,tree,stack,Queue etc,also expect some simple string manipulation programs)
    3.4)Operating system
    Memory management(paging,segmentation,virtual memory,buddy systems,page tables,Process sheduling algorithms,page replacement algorithms),deadlock,semaphore,monotors,mutex etc

    Accenture Test paper 2


    There was three different phases for job inteview test

    (1) written exam

    (2) HR

    (3) techniqual interview





    fnd there were 4 section in the written exam

    (i) english section [15 questions]

    (ii) aptitude [30 questions]

    (iii) lang "c" [15 quests]

    (iv) lang c++ [15 quests]



    english sections -----------

    question given here are just based on my memory, & may not be exactly

    same .so just get the idea of the questions---



    (i)_ university named with cusat is situated there.[ans-a]

    (ii) we study in _university,rather in school.[ans-a]

    (iii) mr riju works _ the supervision of mr ram.[ans-under]



    like that 10 questions wr based on article & preposition.(2 synonyms & antonyms)



    5 questions wr based on the comprehension.. that was not very hard. but i'll prefer to do it at last. cuz it was too much long, that waz time taking. so i solved it at last.



    (2) this section included 30 questions from aptitude. those wr damn easy. & u will solve it. in just 30 mins may be less than that.



    i think u can solve them within 25 mins.they were simple .

    most of the problems wr frm ----

    time & work

    clock

    ratio & proportion

    profit & loss

    races & condition

    time & distance

    mixture

    that's all. just try to solve it as quickly as possible. but do it carefully.



    I solved all those questions except four. Try to revise

    the R.S.Agarwal book (aptitude).



    A man is st&ing on the platform. A train passes by him in a spped of 5km/hr & the length of the train is 100m. Calculate the time taken by the train to

    cross the man.



    Between 1 & 2, when the arms of the clock will coincide (hr & min arms).

    (Formula: [(11*min)/2 - (30*hr)=0] ---> this is the eqn. If u will input hr, u will get the min as answer.



    Data may be different....am just giving the pattern.



    (3) 3rd sections was based on c. all were based on pointers. so i'll suggest u

    to solve test yr c skill. if possible then solve the "exploring c" also.



    this was also an easy section. all the 15 questions wr easy but they wr taking my time. so i was solving them fastly without caring whether they r correct or

    wrong.but i tried all those question except 2 questions.



    (4)c++ sections. actually in my college in computer science c++ was not in the syllabus. so i have been studying it since i got the news about accenture.



    questions wr based on ----

    virtual function

    inheritence



    alot of questions wr based on "this" operator.They used to make classes &

    objects & inserted "this" pointer along with "&" & "||" operators. So make

    ur concept on these things very strong.they wr too much long. i could hardly

    read all the questions.



    this section was damn tough. i could hardly solve 3 questions correctly. but

    those were correct. & abt rest i just ticked "c" option.it was really short

    of time there.



    i will suggest u to solve it at last. but atleast try to solve 3 or 4 questions & if u want to do better in this section then go for test yr C++ skills & go through correctly bcuz i heard some of my fnds did't get selected cuz they left this sections untouched.



    one more important thing---there is individual cutoff in each section of written

    test.so be careful. do not let any section untouched.



    one more thing, never hesitate to tick all the questions.There waz no negative marking. so even if u r not very sure, u can make guesses.



    HR round:



    fnds this was very crucial one.they will ask u a lot of questions abt yr family

    background,

    career objective,

    hobbies,

    weaknesses



    etc. but fnds be carefull abt yr



    academic drop year. they will be seeking for a peculiar reason. frankly saying

    I had three years gaps between +2 & eng. so i made a ful proof reason

    & just mug it up. i told her everything which i had prepared. & really it

    worked well. she got satisfied.i was very confident & u shd be there with a lot confidence & enthusiasm.show yr genuine interest in their company with regarding data .



    rest were simple questions like--

    what will u want to improve in yrself?

    yr interests?

    wt r u doing to overcome yr weaknesses.?



    like that...

    but do't get nervous. in this area u have to make a difference. ther r

    very supportive. one more important thing fnds.. i think there was a specific panel there . & that panel did't select any c&idate.so it depends on yr luck.





    TECHNICAL INTERVIEW Questions:



    FNDS. it totally depends on your knowledge. they will ask u simple &

    basic question.

    they asked me only 2 questions.



    (1) u have several attributes. like.. employee no,employee name, employee id,supervisor no, supervisor name, months, no of days remained,



    so the question was to make a normalized relationship schema.



    (2) just print the numbers in reverse order fm 1 to 100 .. that satisfy n mod 2=0

    Latest Accenture test pattern for interview



    step1: (i)aptitute test (quant+verbal+reasoning)

    time limit-1hr 10mins,no sectional cutoffs, no negative marking, difficulty level-easy, overall cutoff-high, sets of papers distributed-two.

    important topics covered- venn diagrams, symbol based problems, direction problems, word meanings/opposites, prepositions, articles, comprehensions.

    (ii)essay

    time limit-15mins, word limit-none, topic- current affairs.

    step 2: group discussions.

    time limit- 15mins max. , importance level- very high, topics- current affairs.

    step 3: hr interview

    type- easy but tricky. be careful. memorise every small detail about d company said in ppt.

    step 4: technical interview

    type- easy, a little bit tricky, try to answer smartly, topic-anything under the sun, not jst c & c++.

    tips--1. carry a xerox copy of 5th sem/7th sem (as applicable) mark cardt/provitional marks sheet with u. its a must.

    2. b very thorough regarding company history, profits, revenue etc.

    3. dress smartly, they want smart engineers.be confident.

    4. improve upon ur english, fluency in english is a must in accenture interview.

    5. b positive, b urself, do not bluff, do not lie, they want want honest engineers,if u r caught lying u ll b shown d door instantly.
