March 7th - 9th: Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present the 38th annual Scottsdale Arts Festival at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. Consistently ranked among the top arts festivals in the country by the readers of American Style magazine, the Scottsdale Arts Festival has been a favorite among visitors and artists alike since 1971.
March 9th: Relics Restaurants and Night Club presents Heartbeat featuring Theresa Robertson, vocals and Steve Douglas, guitar/bass.
March 11th: The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Arizona premiere of Turn the River. The film's star, Famke Janssen and the writer/director Chris Eigeman will be here to host the premiere and conduct a Q A discussion after the screening.
March 14th: Joella Jean Mahoney will be discussing her two retrospective books, Cliff People, Figure in Landscape Series and Slide Rock Canyon, Rush to Meaning Series.
March 14th - 16th: The Arizona Women's Festival weekend festivities begin on Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. Sedona Mayor Pud Colquitt will give an official welcome at 6:00 p.m.
March 14th -16th: Kim Kori, one of Sedona's premier women bronze artists, will sculpt and demonstrate her work at Geoffrey Roth during the Arizona Women's Festival hosted by Tlaquepaque Arts Crafts Village.
March 15th: Come and celebrate Sedona's 38th Annual Sedona St. Patrick's Day Parade Festival and Shamrocks in the Red Rocks Road Race.
March 15th: Artists in Rhythm present the first of 2008 community concerts at the Jewish Community Sedona Verde Valley Center. Classic hits of the 60s and 70s.
March 21st: As part of the 2008 50th Anniversary Sedona Public Library Celebration weekly Author Series, Dorothy Valcarcel will be discussing her latest book, The Man Who Loved Women.
March 22nd: Moonlight Walk at Montezuma Castle. Led by Park Archaeologist, Paul Ollig.
March 22nd: Not your everyday band. Nostalgia fills the air with Golden Oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. A blast from the past with trivia, comedy, sing-a-longs, hula hoop, twist, paddle ball and limbo.
Through March 27th: The Sedona Public Library announces the second annual exhibition of Altered Books; books or book parts made into art by The Sedona Visual Artists Coalition and The Friends of the Sedona Library.
April 12th: The first annual Sedona Bike Bash and Bicycle Festival sponsored by the Sedona Heritage Museum and Sedona Bike Bean is scheduled for Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The all new, day-long event will provide a variety of events and activities appealing to a range of attendees - from mountain biker to families with small children.
April 20th: The Bill West Quartet featuring Bill West on trumpet, Steve Sandner on piano, Steve Douglas on bass and Kevin McQuaid on drums.
