- Custom Fields For Feeds: WordPress Plugin
One of the things I wanted to accomplish in the custom fields tutorial series is adding the custom fields to the feed. So, if you're reading this post through your feed reader, I hope there's an image at the top of this post. If not, I suppose something went wrong. If you're not reading this in a feed reader, then I suggest you subscribe to the feed now.

- How to add videos to your WordPress sidebar
YouTube has become a bit of a phenomenon on the Internet, and everyone's rushing to embed videos into their blogs. This is actually a fairly neat thing, especially if you blog a lot about videos or have videos that will emphasize the importance of your posts.

- Project Community Theme
Have you ever wanted to design a WordPress theme but lack the CSS skills to make the template pretty? Do you have some great ideas for functionality but don't know a lick of PHP? Perhaps, you're just too lazy to sit down and do it yourself. You're not alone. Welcome to Project Community Theme.

- D is for dangerously diving doves
This edition of the ABCs of Writing is the fifth post in the series. I'll cover the usage of things that fall under the "D" category.
Note that some of these things, mostly the sections covering usage of numbers, strictly abide by the AP Stylebook. There are other style guides, but I've found that AP is much better for the blogging world because it is much like journalism.

- A new theme for a new year
Here it is. My completely (I mean somewhere near complete) new theme.
I'm still not sure what I think about it or how comfortable I am with it. Change is hard sometimes. I've struggled with what elements I wanted to include for hours tonight, trying to get something to work right, hoping for that feeling I get when everything is right with the world and the design gods are smiling down on me...

- Changes: Some things to expect in the coming year
I recently came down with some sort of sickness, which is why I haven't continued my regular posting schedule after the holidays. This is around the fourth time I've been sick since I've moved to Korea. It probably has something to do with the air pollution, cooler climate, spending a few hours a day in a classroom with kids that don't know how to cover their mouths and noses when they cough or sneeze, and lack of antibacterial soap in any public restroom in this country...

- The year my life changed
2007. It's almost over. I suppose I should try to come up with some catchy phrase to end this year, but simple words would only undervalue the whirlwind of a ride my life and this blog have taken in the last 365 revolutions of Earth. I'll try to sum up, the best I can, the things that've happened this year...

- Wishing you a happy holiday season
I wanted to put up a quick post to see how everything is going for my readers. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.
I spent several hours on the Web cam with my family while they opened presents on Christmas. It was a neat experience seeing most of them for the first time in over four months all together. It kind of makes me wish I was home for a week or so...

- C is for commonly confusing commas
This article in the ABCs of Writing series covers the letter "C," which means that I'm writing about the comma. It's the most dangerous part of English, yet it's the most useful.
I had to transform myself into a grammar Nazi to write about the comma because even I don't always use it correctly.

- Some observations on theme design
"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams
I've been thinking a lot lately about what makes a good blog design and when to release that design to the world. I've ultimatley concluded that I have no good answer for that, but I'll try to explain my process.

- Weekly Roundup #9
What happened to last week's roundup?
I had to reinstall my hard drive last weekend and put the finishing touches on the Structure theme. In the process, I lost a lot of links that I had saved in my feed reader. So, sorry to those that follow the Weekly Roundup. I now have everything working properly again.

- B is for “because” because “because” is used badly
I’ve searched every inch of my brain to come up with something to write about on the letter “B.”
There are not as many common mistakes with this letter as “A,” but I’ve put together some material to browse. For this new edition of the The ABCs of Writing, I’ll walk you through a [...]

- Theme options and widgets for the Structure theme
If any of you’ve wondered where I’ve been the last couple of days, then I must tell you that I’ve been hard at work creating more options for the Structure WordPress theme. I didn’t plan on releasing an update this soon, but things were running too smoothly for me not to give something [...]

- So, you wanna teach English in South Korea?
What is it like out there? How much should I get paid? Am I getting screwed over by my recruitment agency?
These are all good questions to ask when applying for a job overseas. There are plenty more you should ask too, and you are right to ask them.
I get 10 or [...]
