Have you been over to wikipedia recently? They have awsome information about emergency preparedness. On a sidenote, I was the one that put alot of it on there. If you go to the Emergency Preparedenss page, you'll find a list of items you will need in a first aid kit, 72 hour emergency kit, and a basic survival kit. Welcome to the Emergency Preparedness Squiddoo Lens! We have the best emergency preparedness and survival preparedness gear available online, to help you and your family prepare for man-made and natural disasters. See our products below: 72 Hour Survival Kits - everything you need to survive an emergency Freeze Dried Food - Mountain House freeze dried food storage Water Storage - storage barrels, water purification, and water filters First Aid Kits - medical supplies for emergencies and survival kits Security and Protection - gas masks, potassium iodide, solar radio flashlights We carry a complete line of freeze dried food, 72 hour kits, water storage supplies, potassium iodide first aid kits and much more! I have other social profiles on Tagworld and Friendster and 43things. I know that once you find a social network to be in, it's hard to switch. What I have found though, that you pretty much have to keep the same username, password, and alias if you want to be a member of more than two networks. I also have alot of myspace pages, not for Emergency Preparedness, but I have the same format for all of my networks, to keep them straight. There is one huge benefit of being on Squidoo though. Number one, I can sell all of my own things from my Emergency Survival Preparedness site, as well as things from Amazon, and get paid for both. Even if you don't have your own website, Squidoo will share profits from their Adsense ads on the sidebars. But you have to be getting traffic to your Squidoo lens to get a significant amount of money.
