The International Consortium for Telemetry Spectrum or ICTS is an independent, international, non-profit organization concerned with maintaining an adequate supply of radio spectrum for the specialized test equipment and test procedures that ensure that all aircraft are safe to fly. - Stringent Testing of Modern Aircraft.
Radio spectrum is essential at providing a real-time link between the aircraft being tested and the ground crew that is conducting and monitoring just how that aircraft and pilot perform while airborne. For over 8 years now the ICTS has worked to ensure that radio spectrum for telemetry remains constant and adequate to meet the needs for all nations for the foreseeable future.
