INTRODUCTION My plan is that this be the first of a weekly blog. It is possible that I will miss a week here and there, but I will do my best not to. If you, the reader want to respond, please do. I have been lax in my responsibility to this website, to all those who faithfully labor in this work and above all to Jesus Christ. I have not contributed as much as I should. Telling myself that I am too busy, at the same time my work load is half what it used to be. I have let financial and family pressure distract me from what I believe to be a very important task. I have failed to notice that having less work equals more time that should be split between writing and my family. As for the financial problems... the bills are paid and no one is going hungry. God provides, not always in a way that we want or even understand, but he does provide. The question is, am I willing to conform to his will? He has given me the time, the desire and he has promised to provide for my needs. The Holy Spirit certainly has not stopped bugging me with the need to do more...

THE POLICE STATE IS EMERGING! UPDATE!
As amazing as this will sound, it seems important to put into perspective what transpired after I wrote this original Chronicle! After the posting of this one, an additional 10 states were also placed under a state of emergency! That is a total of 42 states Brothers and Sisters. Again, as I had said before, since they neglected the least populous states, this comprises well over 94% of the population of the United States under a "state of emergency", which as we noted in the original chronicle, invokes all of the same powers for the government as Martial Law, only without the Military connotation!
I know there were those back when I posted this article that were calling me ridiculous and alarmist. There were even folks in our own small group of networked friends that told me I was a bit overboard on this one, but once it escalated to into the 40s, I think most people understood that placing IDAHO?? under a state of emergency due to floods in the gulf states was a bit over the top! Massachusetts?? Maine?? come on guys, let's get real here.

QUESTIONS AND MISUNDERSTANDINGS?
After the first Article was posted I had some responses that concerned me, and I want to do a better job expounding on this principle of "us" being the "temple of God". I realize that some folks have taken that to mean that I am preaching the doctrine of "replacement theology" or the belief that we Christians have taken the place of Israel as God's chosen children. I utterly reject that doctrine, and I am not preaching it across this site every time I have mentioned the Abomination of Desolation. Here is an email exchange between myself and a reader. I will show the gist of our exchange, (edited a little), and then I will break it down and talk scripture...
Also, AGAIN I am going to use imagery that I think represents the attitudes we are trying to point out and reprove among the Body of Christ! I know I use this one a lot, but it is one very powerful example of what we have been talking about for so long. Some folks tell themselves that this picture exaggerates the issue, but it really doesn't. Had no one mentioned it, a typical Christian in America today would look at that picture and not even give it a second thought. They wouldn't be fazed one bit by the incredible implications of what that picture is saying!

WOW, WHAT A SCARY TITLE!
Yes, that is what I am calling this Article. "The Abomination That Makes Desolate".
Seems ominous doesn't it? It seems like I am implying that I am going to point at, or make reference to the Antichrist doesn't it? It seems like I am going to go into another long dissertation about how America has become the modern day manifestation of "Babylon", and how I believe that the American Presidency is most likely the "place-holder" if you will for the son of perdition. It seems I may dig into the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation and lay out the spiritual "Roadmap" for the end times scenario, as I began to do in the Gog Magog article... I will do all of those things, as I have stated, but not here. In the upcoming article I am working on entitled, "The Time Appointed" I will do some of those things, but again, not here...
What I am going to do here is talk about something talked about in my most recent article, entitled "Warfare Theology and The Coming 4th Reich 2". In that article, I mentioned a letter that was written by Richard Land, of the Southern Baptist Convention's "Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission", (So appropriately entitled given the "Liberties" that Land and his co signers take with the scriptures, and in fact even the entire thrust and spirit of the gospel.), co-signed by the likes of Chuck Colson, Bill Bright, D. James Kennedy, and other men of esteem in the modern Christian public. The letter was sent to George W. Bush in 2001, regarding his foreign policies, and his proposals with regard to how to "deal" with the issues in the middle east, and specifically Iraq at the time. It is a letter we have labeled as a gross twist of the spirit of our faith, and a most critical betrayal of our Lord Jesus Christ, and it is now time to explain that declaration, and to stand, once again, against the designs of the enemy to destroy the latter day believers, and the Church of Jesus Christ at large, both in America, and abroad.

THE BAN ON GAY MARRIAGE - LEGISLATION OR ALIENATION?
As I write this, the Marriage amendment has already been defeated having failed to gain enough votes to end debate and move forward. I say this simply as a matter of fact. I do not consider a constitutional ban on gay marriage to be either good or bad.
This doesnt mean that I do not care about marriage. I have been part of a very bad failed marriage. I am also currently part of a very good, successful marriage. A marriage that I believe to be Christ centered, although my wife and I do not always agree on what that means. I care very much about marriage, I believe in it and I believe in family. I struggle every day to teach my children that being part of a family means looking out for each other and learning to put others first. Not an easy task in a world that teaches them to take care of themselves first and foremost, and if there is anything left be sure you get a receipt for tax purposes.
I am also not supporting the idea of gay marriage. If homosexuality is a sin, which it is, then it stands to reason that gay marriage is also a sin. I also agree that it is indeed a threat to the institution of marriage. But, lets not give it too much credit. Marriage as an institution is already on the ropes. Just as many Christian as non Christian marriages end in divorce. Just as many Christian as non Christian marriages begin shortly after the first pregnancy begins.
Satan has done a fine job of destroying one of the best tools God provided to help us understand and personalize our relationship to him and Jesus Christ...

We at 11th Hour do not believe that the Christian Church is called to political activism, nor should we be aligning ourselves with the Kingdoms of this World. In America today, the Christian is forced head long into a treacherous allegiance with the American political realm, by a Church that has come to believe that its call is to take over the political realm, and bring the world into submission to the word of God. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We have a singular honor. One second only to the honor of walking with Christ himself for three years. We are looking the Second Coming in the face, and so many of us do not even see it.
We have tried here at 11TH hour to connect the dots and draw the picture as it is revealed by current events. It is a slow process. Frustratingly slow at times, but it is shaping up. Events in the Middle East are pushing us closer and closer to a world that will be clearly divided along ideological lines.
Anti-Semitism is again on the rise and the Jews are beginning to feel the pressure. In places like France and Russia there have been limited physical attacks on Jews. There is already talk of them preparing to begin moving back to Israel. Look around you, anti-Semitism is not confined to Europe. You can find it here as well. I am not just talking about the Neo-Nazi or the Nation of Islam brand of foolishness. That type of Anti-Semitism is blatant and repugnant to any thinking person.
There is a more subtle form of Anti-Semitism that is equally alarming. There are Christian groups who believe that because the Jews crucified Christ, they have lost their place as Gods people. Its called Replacement Theology. There is of course no truth behind this. Gods promise to Abraham was not conditional, look it up, see Gen 12: 1-3 and Gen 17: 1-8. They are his people, for ever, end of story. Not to mention this idea assumes that the crucifixion was a surprise to God. I guess they think God came back from a three day weekend to find a note on his desk and Jesus in the tomb.
The truth, of course is that God not only knew they would do this, it was part of the Plan of Salvation all along. Read Hebrews chapter 8, 9 and 10. Christ was the perfect sacrifice intended to replace the imperfect sacrifice that needed to be performed over and over again. Who else but a Jewish High Priest could have offered up this perfect sacrifice...

PUN DEFINITELY INTENDED! (Introduction)
Obviously the pun rings of the debate on the separation of Church and State, a debate which has and will rage on in this country, with both sides leveling some powerful and convincing arguments. The concepts addressed here however, are more directed to a personal level of Christian experience, and of the importance of the primary command of our savior for his followers to remain separate from the world in all of their doings.
As the separation of Church and State debate rages on in America, and as the Christian right begins to see a swing in their favor in governmental affairs, we contend that the importance of the Lord's admonitions to remain separate from the world are suffering a serious blow. I will keep my own arguments about the Separation of Church and State debate out of this discussion, because we address a more important separation. As the American Christian becomes a political activist, and an avid supporter of an administration that he perceives as centered on God, he makes manifest the success of decades of work on the part of the enemy to bring him to the current place. The church is surely being separated from its faith in the 21st century, and the discussion here will be directed at that separation, which as you will see here we believe is perilous...

A STORM IS ROLLING IN!
For 2000 some odd years the Christian Church has waged a gallant struggle, with determination, dignity, and with obedience and reverence for their God. They have remained patient in the hard times, and they have fallen at the feet of the cross in the times of persecution and siege. They have cast their cares upon our Lord through many trying and even hideous times. They have engaged in a battle of monumental importance to them, and it has raged on since day one.
In America, this selfsame struggle has raged on since the founding of the country, as folks have always prepared for the return of their Lord. They have been standing up for the principles of our beliefs with assurance, and with faith, and they have stayed the course with a determination, the same kind of determination that got the reformers through the crusades and inquisitions. They have shown the reasons why this was considered a "great country", and why Americans were once considered some of the most amazing people on earth: Because they kept their word to themselves and others.
I am talking about an inner struggle that has been America's most vital war. There has been a domestic struggle going on, and it is the same one I alluded to in the very first paragraph of this Article. It is really one of the first battles this country set out to win. That battle was for "The Separation of Church and State", I.E.: The belief that the Church should not govern the state, and that the state should not govern the Church. The desire of all men to be free to worship without reservation, in his home, in his church, or even in the streets if he saw fit. This battle has raged on from the very beginning until the present, and this war, in America at least, sad to say, is coming to its conclusion...

What we will do here is lay out some clear indications of what is happening on the world stage at this time, and why it is important to look at these events. We might also add that some of these events are items that the Church believes are to happen after it has departed, which we think needs some CAREFUL CONSIDERATION by the brethren! Finally, we will again point out what we believe to be the obvious. We will show that America is not a fairy tale land that sits on the sidelines of world events and end times prophecy, and gets conveniently scooped out before all the tough stuff takes place. Yes, another 21st century "Blessed Hope" shunned by the word of God.
In order to see the argument that we have been making about America's place in scripture, it is necessary to look at the Prophetic scriptures that discuss the end times scenario. What will be taking place in the world at the time of the Lord's coming? If we are at the final hours of history, in addition to the seals, the tribulation, the trumpets, the coming of the Lord and the vials of God's wrath, there are TWO major conflicts that will be taking place. These two end times conflicts are The Gog Magog war, and The Battle of Armageddon. After the millennial reign of Christ when Satan is released to deceive the nations once more, there will be a third and final conflict. The nations that rise up against the saints reigning in the holy city are burned up by fire from heaven, which really isn't much of a battle at all.
In order to see what we believe to be America's place in scripture, we will concentrate on The Gog Magog War. We believe this War is not only at the door, but the preliminary battles have already been fought and have just recently begun. If one accepts our take on this war, then the Armageddon battle, which takes place with Christ himself leading the armies of heaven, Armageddon and its participants becomes elementary. (Revelation 19: 11-21)

This was going to be a "Signs of the Times Chronicle", So I decided to make it both an Article, and a Chronicle. We have all seen the head page at CNN. It is the cornerstone for internet News, and people from countries all over the world head there on a regular basis to see what is going on in the world. What I wish to talk about right now is the upper right hand corner of the front page pictured here, which usually features the top 10 stories of the hour, and CNN's brilliant use of this section today. The contents of the Articles this morning at approximately 6am Eastern Standard time, (which figures to about 2:30pm Tehran time), CNN's top ten Stories included the following...

A SHORT INTRODUCTION
This Article is the result of another hard night of realizing the fact that the Church is falling into deception. This was a particularly hard night for me. The first 15 paragraphs of this Article were written while I literally balled my sorry eyes out. (I just had a major eye transplant surgery, so that was not a comfortable experience). I was happy that my wife went to bed before the tears started. I just felt so sorry and sad for the things that are happening in America today, as what probably amounts to the greatest country the earth has ever seen is reduced to another fascist, police state, basking in religious bigotry. I am not marveled by that too much, I mean this is what the kingdoms of this world do, its no big surprise.
That the Church in America is lending wholehearted and vigorous support to this stuff however is just tragic. Anyone who has read any of the stuff on this site knows, that the primary thrust of our ministry here is to present, primarily to the church and Christians, the reasons why the Word of God does not include any justification for the Church's involvement in the affairs of these kingdoms. This Article is yet another attempt to bring that truth fourth, and to call the Christian back to his original ground, which is holy ground, not the grounds of "justice", "freedom and liberty", "political activism" or "civil duty", or revenge in the name of Jesus...
