Articles, Documents, Photo's and Testimonies from the Holocaust. Today there are many resources available for those wishing to learn more of what the world has come to know as The Holocaust - the planned extermination of entire ethnic, religious, political, and other groups by the government of a sovereign state, Germany, and her allies during the years 1933 -1945. Memorials, museums, and sufficient books to fill entire libraries are devoted to the subject. But the advent of the internet has created a new, globally accessible source of information on the Holocaust. Some of this information is valuable, often unique. Much of it, poorly researched and sourced, is not. The hateful writings emanating from the twisted minds of those who would deny the reality of what is irrefutable are much worse.
We believe that despite this multitude of available resources, there remains a wealth of detail to be made available. And so we have created these pages in the hope that our efforts will throw further light on what was perhaps the darkest period in human history. Since every project of the kind we have in mind must have considered objectives, this is what we will do and what we will not

- Euthanasia and the Holocaust
The Nazis did not create this twisted version of euthanasia. Its roots lay in a selective reading of the evolutionary theories of Charles Darwin, and the distorted scientific thinking to which this gave birth.
- The Einsatzgruppen
The Einsatzgruppen were special SS mobile formations tasked with carrying out the mass murder of Jews, communist functionaries, and others deemed unfit to live by the Nazis. They were first seen in action in Austria and the annexed parts of Czechoslovakia in 1938, as German forces occupied all (in the case of Austria) or certain regions (in the case of Czechoslovakia) of these countries in relatively peaceful annexations to the Reich.

As the war was drawing to a German defeat, Himmler was considered by many to be a candidate to succeed Hitler as the Führer of Germany. However, realizing the war was lost, Himmler attempted to approach the Allies for peace negotiations through the Head of the Swedish Red Cross, Count Folke Bernadotte. Himmler ordered the cessation of the mass slaughter of the Jews, and proposed the surrender of the German armies in the west, including Denmark and Norway, but the fight against the Russians would continue. Hitler, learning of the betrayal of his most trusted and loyal disciple was enraged, stripping Himmler of all of his offices.
