Meet two kiddos identified only as G & M. On their way to martial arts class, their mum managed to set up a great AFV moment where the duo do some karaoke to Pavement's near-hit "Stereo." In a word: adorable.

  • Terrorist Group Threaten to "Cut the Heads Off Madonna and Britney Spears"

The lives of "pop tarts" Madonna and Britney Spears have been threatened by a Palestinian terrorist group called the Popular Resistance Committees, who have deemed the two peddlers of "Satanic culture". Muhammad Abdel-Al, the spokesman and senior leader of the violent Gaza Strip-based group made the comments in a new book titled Schmoozing With Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land Jihadists Reveal their Global Plans - to a Jew!, which also labels Madge and Brit as "prostitutes." In the rant, Abdel-Al says: "If I meet these whores I will have the honour - I repeat, I will have the honour - to be the first one to cut the heads off Madonna and Britney Spears if they will keep spreading their satanic culture against Islam. If these two prostitutes keep doing what they are doing, we of course will punish them."

  • Here Piggy, Piggy! It's New Release Tuesday

It's Tuesday, and that means it's time to break the piggy bank once again. September 11 obviously marks an important day in history, but it's also probably the year's best on-sale day for records. • Gallows Front-man To Quit Music

The front-man for Epitaph-signed hardcore act Gallows has announced he will soon give up music to go back to his job as a tattoo artist. Frank Carter has stated: "Gallows is not my life. Never has been, never will. It's a hobby I get paid for. I'm a tattoo artist - that will always be my life and job. Being in a band is something I do for fun. I quit the band four times before we signed to a major label. Gallows won't last five years." Despite the band's success with the well-received debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, Carter made the decision after he was tattooed live on stage at the Reading Festival last month by New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert. Carter added that it won't be an immediate end. "We'll definitely write and record the next album. And I'd like to make a third. But as I said, tattooing is my life." (Video content after the break.)

  • ESG Call It A Day

Legendary Bronx-based post-punk-funk sibling act ESG have announced they will pack it in for the last time. The band are scheduled to play their final show at the Abbey Pub in Chicago on September 21, as part of the Estrojam Festival. Singer Renee Scroggins explained the decision to retired, saying: "It's been a long career. We were able to play a good 30 years in the business. I'm just really tired right now. We love our fans, and we appreciate 30 years of support." While the band have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity thanks to reissues (the newly released compilation A South Bronx Story 2: Collector's Edition), and have been active over the last few years with new recordings, the sisters Scroggins will use their energy elsewhere. Renee also added that she will begin producing other artists, beginning with a singer named Marquetta. (Video content after the break.)
