- E-Jury Payment Proof!
I signed up for an e-jury about a month or two ago and got my first invite a few days ago. For those of you who don't know, an e-jury is a "mock" jury website that pays you to read cases and give your opinion on the verdict. My case involved child molestation and it took me about 5-10 minutes to complete the whole thing. It was actually pretty interesting too! I got paid $5.00 today via paypal! I hope I get another invite soon, and I plan on looking for more of these e-jury sites to join.

- New Friends, New Debts, New Goals!
Last night I had the worst bout of insomnia ever- I had to be at work today at 7 am and didn't get to sleep until after 4 am. After work, I had some things to do that ended up taking over 5 hours and I came home tonight absolutely exhausted. I got online, checked my e-mail and found out that I'm FABULOUS!
Thank you Sheryl for my "I'm Fabulous" award- it made me smile and lighten up after a loooong day! Please go check out Sheryl's blog on Finding Money Online - it's pretty fabulous too! I find myself inspired daily by a lot of fabulous blogs but here are two uber-fabulous blogs that I've really enjoyed and appreciated lately:
- The GPT Money Tree - Yesterday I spent a LONG time reading this blog- she has great tips, legitimate recommendations, and interesting content that consists of more than just posting referral links-- (I admit, sometimes I forget that people want to actually find out things when they visit blogs, not just click on my ref. link!) so please go check out this fab blog!
In other news- I am working on a little chart to show my September earnings, but I can tell you that it was my best month yet! I am trying to earn money to pay OFF debts so I can finish school, I took on a new debt today that has inspired me to make October even better! I wrecked my car last Spring and while it's still (barely) driveable, it's about to go KAPUT for good anytime. I've had the car since I was 16, and today I bought a new car! I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 Honda Civic! I'm excited to have a new car that I love and for the opportunity to improve my credit score by making this debt a GOOD debt! I needed a car, and I'm determined to look at it as a possibility to IMPROVE my financial situation by motivating me to make money and keep my financial priorities straight.
Once I finish up my September Earnings chart, I'll decide what a realistic goal for October should be. Until then, go check out the other FABULOUS blogs listed above. I am exhausted and have no more energy... happy money making!

- Save Time While Earning Money: GPT Shortcuts!
If you're like me, you spend a lot of time completing freebie offers on GPT Sites. Here are some tips that should save you time on some of the offers that are the most common on all of the sites- I've found that for some sites I don't need to fill out 15 minutes worth of information, only 2 pages is necessary! Here's the lowdown:

- Need Referrals?
If you are trying to find referrals for your GPT sites, like me, go check out Fairy Tale Treasures today, tomorrow, and Thursday! They are having a promo where you can earn referrals by completing offers!

- How to Get Referrals on GPT Sites
One of the hardest things for me since I've started this online quest for cash has been getting referrals at the GPT sites I use. I've had a lot of success using Star Referrals, but I've been looking around for other ways to build up my downline. For those of you who don't know about Star Referrals, it is a website where you can earn "stars" by clicking ads, registering for various GPT and PTC sites, or by purchasing stars.
You can then spend these stars on your own ads. So if someone is signs up under your name through the Star Referrals site, you not only get them as a referral at the GPT site of your choice, but they also earn stars for signing up! You may set your own guidelines as to what users must do in order to be approved (I usually have them confirm their registration and paste the confirmation e-mail, then complete at least one offer on the site). This program can be really really helpful!
Here are some other ways to get referrals:
- Post your referral links/banners in your e-mail signature
- Take advantage of forums and use your referral links/banners in your signature (make sure to read the guidelines and don't spam!)
- Print out flyers and business cards and hand them out to friends, family and businesses
For some reason, using my referral link in my e-mail signature doesn't seem appropriate for me. I don't know why, I can't explain it.
I need to get over my online-shyness and start posting in forums. I hate feeling like a "newbie" and it seems like forums always have those people who post constantly and try to dominate the whole thing and that intimidates me. I'm gonna start standing up to the forum bullies though and I'm gonna get some referrals!

- Weekend Money Making News
I made my first penny on Google Adsense yesterday. Actually, truth be told, I made TWO pennies! I got pretty giddy over it, since I haven't actually taken the time to really learn how to use Adsense to it's potential. I spent a little bit of time last night poking around and trying to fix up the ads on both of my blogs -- but I was unsure about whether or not it would actually make a difference.
Today I was checking out some of the updates over at Somewhere Over the Debt, and I noticed that Sarah, the blogger over there, uses Shylock for Wordpress (like me!) and she was having a lot of luck and bigger profit by:
- Running big, bold ads on her older posts (7+ days)
- Eliminating all sidebar ads
- Using a horizontal link ad at the top
I changed my own Adsense settings around and tweaked them similarly, so here's hoping for the best!
In other money making news, I found a very expensive pen the other day, apparently it retails for almost $300.00! I cannot even FATHOM spending that much money on a pen- I'm so disorganized that I lose pens on a daily basis- so that's much too big a risk to take! I realize that lots of people value these pens though, so I sent the pen over to a friend of mine who does a lot of selling on E-bay. He put the pen up last night, and already it has 3 bids! I'm hoping to make $100 off of it, it's currently at $26.00.

- My New Site!
I have created a new GPT blog with it's own domain: Natbooty.com. While it's still a work in progress and needs a LOT of work, please go check it out! Right now it's pretty much the same (content wise) as this blog- but soon it will be bigger, better, and.... well, better!
