- Capacity Management Lead
Provide initial gap analysis of current process Define touch-points of the Capacity Mgmt process to other processes and deliver solution to customer Create action plan for initial capacity plan. Define and maintain Capacity Management processes, including templates, Capacity Management plans and reports. Work with the customer to assist in definition of business capacity requirements to feed into Performing Suppliers infrastructure capacity plans. Verify that the Performing Suppliers have the appropriate level of monitoring and measurement in place to support the Capacity management requirements. Develop standard metrics and monitoring of process Report on projected future utilization levels based on historical trends. Develop and maintain standard metrics for service performance analysis, component reports and service reports, based on Customers requirements Work with line team to create and implement corrective action plans when Capacity Management plans prove insufficient. Advising on capacity issues and proposed remedial actions Produce metrics on overall infrastructure capacity utilization (for example Measure effectives for customers utilization of the available infrastructure) Management of the Capacity planning team. ITIL Foundation Certified Experience in Capacity Management preparing, reviewing and reporting Capacity metrics and providing recommendations to customers on capacity changes required to support business requirements. Ability to analyze Capacity reports and provide recommendations. Understanding of common technology mainframe, Unix, AS400, Intel, Network, Virtual Environments.
