- Toyota Offers New Incentives on Tundra
Detroit Free Press has revealed that "Toyota Motor Corp' is upping the ante in the full-size truck market by offering new incentives' The incentives offered through July 31 include a choice of zero-percent financing for five years, rebates of up to $3,500, or reductions of $500 on down payments on three-year leases' The 2007 Tundra, Toyota's first true full-size truck, was launched in February'"

- GM 4.5-liter Turbodiesel Makes Way to Pickups
AutoWeek reported today, "General Motors announced it will build a turbocharged 4'5-liter Duramax clean diesel V8 making in excess of 310 hp and 520-lb-ft of torque for use in light-duty trucks and Hummer H2s built after 2009' The engine will have four valves per cylinder and dual overhead cams' The heads will be aluminum with integrated manifolds'"

According to The Detroit News , Ford is launching new incentives today, after losing $12'6 billion last year' "Customers who buy a 2008 F-Series Super Duty through July 2 can now get $1,500 in cash -- up from $1,000 -- on regular and super-cab models, as well as low-interest financing' Ford is also offering $1,000 in bonus cash on four-door crew cab models' The automaker is also putting another $1,000 on the hood of all 2007 F-150 pickups' That can be combined with Ford's current zero-percent financing or $3,000 cash-back offer'"
