the F-bodies are the last generation camaro I like. Anything after that and they just look like flattened twinkies on wheels. The performance was there but the look was destroyed.

Fair enough. I feel exactly the opposite in the early years... I don't like the look of any Camaro after about 73.. but the first few years are a yes for me. We'll just have to agree to disagree Smile

    No I won't. I respect Camaro's, I just don't like them.

Daniel, all your reasons are good ones, so I can't argue that. I just don't agree, haha!

The VAccords Store is now up and running!

You'll see links to it at the top, and in the left navbar on the portal/index pages.

    It's available at
    http://store.vaccords.com
    or
    http://vaccords.com/store

This store is for VAccords goodies like stickers, shirts, coffee mugs, and anything else we decide to have made. We may also offer some Accord parts and universal parts through the store.

The only product in there so far is the VAccords decals. They are currently on backorder, but you could order them if you wanted to and your order would be processed when we get them in.

Use this thread to make suggestions for any merchandise or Accord items that you would like to see in the store. I will also update this thread as new products become available.

That depends on what you are going for.

For me, whenever I get around to getting a Camaro, I will be dumping entirely too much money into its restoration and making it look, drive, run, and be as sweet as possible. For me, I want it to look gorgeous. I would not want to spend all of that money on a car that has a lower appearance potential (in my eyes, no-one else's matter because its my paychecks being sunk into the car). Would a sleeper be better than a hotrot? If I want to win races and make people scratch their heads, yes. But I already have a sleeper, and its my Accord. Granted all it does is sleep at this point. When I start dumping large sums of money into an old muscle car, I want it to look like a muscle car. Not a matchbox car. For me, the Camaro does that. The Mustang does not. If I had more money, I'd LOVE a GT350 or a GT500. I don't have that kind of money, and for an entry level pony car the appearance of the Camaro wins for me.

Having people not look twice at your sleeper of the 60's/70's muscle car era is TEN times better than have them expect for your Camaro to be fast.

    I'm getting excited already!

I say wait a few more weeks, maybe a month or so and see how the site grows.

So far it looks like we'd probably have about 4 attending this meet. Lets try to get that closer to 10 or 20.
