  • Photographs from the Songkla Dive Expedition
The above photo’s were provided by Leon Webber, who joined us for the wreck hunting expedition to Songkla (reported in January - discovering 2 new wrecks). These show the amount of gear we have to move around - in this case the trip from Koh Tao down to the southern Thai province took more than [...]

  • June 18th Wreck / Coral Expo just got hotter!
Together with ‘Worldwide Dive & Sail’ we’re running a 4.5 day / 4 night liveaboard throughout the Chumphon marine reserve. The diving is great - great mixed coral formations, many fish and lots of turtles. Last week Nereides Diving owner JP discoverd a ‘field’ of seahorses! But here is the really good news: Tim has a new [...]

  • Fast…. fast…. Faster
At last we’ve taken delivery of our new 6 metre diving rib. Built by Hansboat in Phuket, it’s equipped with GPS, sonar and twin 85 hp outboards so we can ‘fly’ out to the further dive sites. Our first group diving from the new boat was a posse of experienced divers from Malaysia/Hong Kong - Kar Hin, [...]

  • Warm, wet and . . . . . Whale Sharks!
This time we got to double dive with a Whale Shark during two dives at the Southwest Pinnacles. Alex was diving with certified divers Brad, Note, Kelsey & Michelle (down from Bangkok) - the guys managed to capture some great photos and movie footage of the 4 - 5 metre long whale shark. Incidentally it was [...]
