Chances are the Sunni insurgent groups aren't going to go along with it, so the Americans will stick around to fight with them. Might help take the heat off of Iran, though.

Al-Sadr bans attacks on Iraqis
Fairly major news if it holds... Iraqi cleric Muqtada al-Sadr has issued a decree banning members of his Mehdi army from attacking Iraqi troops.

Smart move, and an important step in stemming the sectarian violence that is one of our major stumbling blocks in getting the fuck out of Iraq.

yeah 10 or even 20 i guess. personally i always like it when i can see a lot of history in an rss feed. new york times puts like 5-6 articles in their feed which doesn't even fill a third of my reader. adjusting that was always easy in blog software.. no idea about forums though.

There is not a separate feed for the front page, actually. I will inquire about that with the people who make the portal software.

I'll also see what I can do about getting more posts in the feed. What's a good number? 10?
